Our Aims and Objectives

To organise networking events to strengthen the ties between academics within the tourism and hospitality field, including those regionally and internationally;
To provide a platform to initiate projects to advance and standardise the tourism and hospitality field, particularly through research and actively engaging with society;
To support the government through research and scholarly activities to realise the immediate and long-term tourism strategies of Macao;
To professionalise the tourism and hospitality field through education and training, as well as career advancement for young and aspiring individuals to enter the academia;
To promote charity and initiate not-for-profit activities within the tourism and hospitality field, particularly in responsible tourism and green initiatives.
